Rosie, a Kindergartener, wants to ride the same bus as her brother and the other neighborhood children that go to her school.
Old Bridge Board of Education (BOE) says not on their watch.
Despite the family having an Individualized Education Program meeting where the entire team, including the Director of Special Education, agreed to her riding the same bus, Old Bridge BOE wants her to ride a segregated special education bus.
Rosie’s parents are headed to trial versus the Old Bridge Board of Education. Rosie has the right to ride the same bus as her brother and neighbors.
