March Madness (Not the basketball kind)
It is only the first week of March but I am already exhausted.

Hey, Y’all!
Earlier this week I tweeted this:
I’m going to be very honest. It was a rough week.
Mostly because there are situations (especially professionally) that I want to fix, but I can’t. And that weighs on my heart. And some of you were so kind as to say that you know what this feels like.
Thursday night, I could barely keep my eyes open at around 9:00 PM. I think I just needed some rest.
For those of us that are educators, it is easy to take on the stress of some significant situations that our students face. It can be overwhelming. So, I’ll echo what people have been telling me. Don’t forget to find rest, somewhere. And don’t forget to ask how your colleagues are doing, because chances are if you are feeling rundown, they are too.
Also, very exciting to say that I am working on a piece right now that will talk about the new proposed legislation in California that would establish the Supporting Inclusive Practices Project to assist districts around the state to implement inclusive practices.
I’m waiting to get the go-ahead. If the outlet doesn’t pick it up though, I’ll probably just publish it on Medium or Think Inclusive. I’ll keep you posted.
That’s it for now.
